Description: Ignite your child's passion for pottery in our Junior Ceramists class! Geared towards budding artists ages 7 to 9, this dynamic course combines skill-building with boundless creativity. From learning the basics of hand building to experimenting with glazing techniques, students will embark on a journey of discovery as they develop their artistic abilities and cultivate a lifelong love for ceramics and sculpture.
Please note ceramics require two firings in our kilns and final work will be retrieved a week after our final class.
Please have your child bring their own water bottle. Art clothes are encouraged & snacks are welcome.
Supplies: All art supplies will be provided.
Parents, please note your child's name and age in the order comment section when you pay for the class.
*Youth classes have been designed by age to be as pedagogically appropriate as possible, but the Academy recognizes that there are special situations where students are advanced for their age. Please inquire with the front office if you would like your child to be placed into a class that is not within their age range. Thank you
