Part 1 Beginning Photography SLR and Mirrorless Cameras
Please bring - your SLR or Mirrorless cameras and any lenses you may have. Make sure you have a good battery and that is charged before the class.
Classes are small so students can participate and request information specific to their interests- landscapes, portraits, action etc.
Description:
We will cover-
- the basic parts of the camera and their functions. Camera care, memory cards, batteries and changing lenses.
- Learn the various important automatic modes from P- which allows brighter or darker exposures to (A) aperture priority which allows you to blur backgrounds when using tele lenses. Learn (S) mode for action images or night photography.
- the most frequently used and less expensive kit lenses - normal zooms and tele zooms.
- Learn to take images by lovely window light just like the old masters.
Prerequisites: None
Supplies: Please bring the camera you have. Advice will be given personally for those who want to purchase their first SLR/Mirrorless camera or to upgrade the equipment they have.
