Description:
Explore your own artistic voice through sculpture. This is a great opportunity to try that thing in the back of your mind that you don’t know how to start, or just haven’t yet. Each student will be welcomed at their current skill level and catered to individually. The instructor will act as a resource and guide to help you realize your vision. Those artists who already have a focus and direction guiding them may bring in their specific materials. The instructor will work with less experienced artists to ideate projects.
Examples of sculptural media to explore:
Water-based clay, Oil-based clay, polymer clay, paper mache, plaster, mold-making, casting in various materials.
Prerequisites: None
*Bring your own supplies and tools. Instructor can advise depending on the student’s objective. Water-Based clay will be available for purchase.
