Description: Clay sketching is an essential practice for all levels of figure sculptors. Students will work from live models to sculpt several short studies and learn how to quickly capture the gesture. Then we will move on to a longer study in order to further develop understanding of forms and proportions.
Prerequisites: None
Supplies: Each student will get 1 bag of clay and will also need to bring 2, 12x12” boards to work on, or may be purchased from instructor.
