Description: Bronze sculpture is timeless and beautiful, but creating it requires specialized equipment and investment. Cold cast bronze is a more accessible method that combines real bronze powder and resin to produce sculptures that can be polished and patinaed to have a genuine bronze finish. Students will start by creating a bas-relief sculpture and be led through the molding process. The bronze composite will be cast into the resulting mold. Demonstrations on how to achieve different finishes will give students the ability to create a look for their own piece.
