Class Size: 5-6
This course offers an in depth study of the torso in a life-size one-to-one ratio. Although open to all levels, some sculpting experience is preferred due to a more intensive study. Some building of armature will be explored along with detailed aspects in use of wire and wooden tools to bring the torso to a finished piece. Gesture and proportion, as well as design and composition will be emphasized.
Prerequisites: None
Supplies: Bags of clay will be available for purchase at your class, and Kim will advise you on any tools you will need and where to find them during your first class.
