Description: This class explores the creative possibilities of Photo Lithography. Unlike traditional lithography, which creates an image on a stone, photo lithography incorporates photographic principles to its process. Using a light sensitive aluminum plate, students will create an image using various drawing materials and then expose that image onto the plate. Students will be guided through all techniques including, image creation, plate processing, and printing along with creative ways to incorporate this medium into their practice.
