Description: This class will focus on introducing young art students to different mediums, ways of making, and working together. We will do projects such as experimental painting with toothbrushes and other objects, collaging fabrics, printing cyanotypes, and creating a small world out of cardboard together. Throughout these 12 weeks, the students will create a variety of these projects while also having access to paint, draw, and play with play dough throughout the class. Some days will be more collaborative based, but most days they will have works of art to take home.
Supplies: All supplies needed for this course will be available when students arrive for their first class.

*Youth classes have been designed by age to be as pedagogically appropriate as possible, but the Academy recognizes that there are special situations where students are advanced for their age.
