Description: This class is an introduction to the fundamental methods of additive sculpting, subtractive carving, mold making and casting. Students will work from facial casts to learn about observation, modeling, anatomy, mass, planes, and proportion while using various types of clay and tools. They will also learn to make a simple mold and plaster cast.
