Photography Workflow Basics: Adobe Photoshop & Lightroom
Description: Explore and learn the fundamental elements of Adobe’s photography editing apps, Photoshop and Lightroom. Examine the differences and benefits of each program and how to use them together for optimum results. This class is perfect for beginning photographers and Adobe users that feel overwhelmed and simply don’t know where to begin! Students will learn the basic workspace of each program and a broad understanding of the most commonly used editing and organizational tools for a well-managed and developed creative archive.
Prerequisists: None
Supplies:
Students must have a computer or tablet with Photoshop capabilities, paid Photoshop access (Creative Cloud, any previous version of Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements,) and a flash drive. Please come to class with the software installed! Any materials/images provided by the instructor will be available via Google Drive.
Please note that the Photoshop software is available on a subscription basis at www.adobe.com. For $10 per month you get Lightroom and Photoshop.
