Class Description: Working from a live model, the student will learn the basics of constructing the human head, from the block in, to planes, features, and anatomy. This will be an intensive experience where the student will learn to create a life-like, realistic portrait, and will gain a solid foundation in understanding the structure of the human head. We will be working primarily in graphite and charcoal, but any drawing media is acceptable. Supply list will be discussed at the first class
Prerequisites: Beginning Drawing or equivalent
