Class Size: 6-10
Description: This class will be an intensive exploration of all parts of the figure, “from top to bottom.” Much emphasis will be placed on the gesture, rhythms and dynamics of movement, and how by focusing on these elements, the student will gain a greater sense of proportion, balance and structure. Pose length will gradually increase as our understanding of anatomy, proportion, and how various body parts interact increases. Toward the end of the session, the student will begin work on long-pose, finished drawings. Male and female models will be nude and students must be at least 18 years of age.
Prerequisites: Completion of beginning drawing is mandatory.
